UDHAMPUR, May 1: A farewell function organised by the Border Security Force was held here today.
The function was organised by Rajesh Kumar Gurung, Inspector General, Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF Udhampur.
On the occasion, five personnel included Ram Lal Sharma, Assistant Sub Inspector/ Ministerial Vikas Kumar Singh, Sub Inspector (GD) Hari Singh, Head Constable (GD) Gelju Tamang and Constable (GD) Jora Singh accorded warm farewell.
The Inspector General honoured all the personnel by garlanding them and presenting them with mementoes.
The retiring personnel shared their long service experiences on this occasion and expressed their gratitude for being honoured by the Centre.
Thereafter, Inspector General expressed best wishes on behalf of the Centre for the healthy, happy and long life of all the retired personnel and their families and said that your services rendered with dedication and honesty towards the Border Security Force will always be remembered.
