JAMMU, May 1: Shivani Joshi, Principal Lawrence Public School Jammu was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan Dr Nirmala Deshpande Award for the year 2024.
The award was presented to her by Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary to Government Department of Culture in a ceremony held at the Conference Hall of MAM College here today.
The event marked the 17th Nirvan Diwas of Padma Vibhushan Dr Nirmala Deshpande and was organized by the Gandhi Global Family. The ceremony aimed to recognize individuals from various fields who have made significant contributions to society. On this special occasion, President Gandhi Global Family J&K, Dr. SP Varma Padma Shri, extended his appreciation to all the awardees and expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests in attendance.
