REASI, May 7: Zonal Physical Education Office Pouni of District Reasi organized an Inter School Zonal Level Competition at Dadooa, Pouni here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Sahil Randawa, Tehsildar Pouni. The event showcased the talent and competitive spirit of the participating youth. The competition was held in various disciplines – Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Tug of War, and Wrestling. Around 240 boys from different schools in Zone Pouni participated in the event.
The competition provided a platform for the young athletes to showcase their abilities and encouraged healthy competition and camaraderie. The Department of Youth Service and Sports Reasi is committed to nurturing and promoting sports talent in the community. The event was organised under the supervision of Kulwant Singh Zonal Physical Education Officer Pouni.
The results of the day were Kho-Kho (Final); HSS Bharakh beat HS Kundkhanyari, Kabaddi (Final); HSS Bharakh beat HS Kheralair; Tug of War Winner; MS Dhanwa beat MS Khana. Volleyball Final; WMS Sudheen beat HS Kotla. The matches were officiated by experts deputed by Zonal Office.
