ASN school holds friendly Cricket, Kho-Kho matches

JAMMU, May 10: ASN Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat, Jammu organized a friendly Cricket Match for boys and Kho-Kho match for girls with Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School, Sainik Colony, Jammu here today. The matches were played at the Armed Police Complex, Channi Himmat.
Zahid Manhas, Commandant SDRF 2nd Battalion, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while Ajay Sharma, SP South Jammu presided over the event where as Manpreet Kour, Vice-Principal Army Public School, Jammu Cantt, Seema Sambyal, Principal Holy Presentation Convent School, Kathua, Dr Vikram Handa, Principal Tiny Tots Hr. Sec. School, Sainik Colony and Vishakha Raut Pandita, Outreach Manager, Shoolini University, Solan Himachal Pradesh were the Guests on Honour.
A T-10 Cricket match for boys was played between ASN and Tiny Tots teams. Tiny Tots team was able to score just 42 runs in 10 overs with a loss of 9 wickets whereas ASN school team scored 43 runs in just 17 balls with a loss of 1 wicket and won the match.
In the Kho-Kho match for girls, the ASN team won the toss and decided to chase first. Tiny Tots team was all out in 17 minutes while ASN School team won the match with a loss of just 3 points.
The event was declared open by Ajay Sharma SP South Jammu along with Ritesh Kapoor, Director ASN Hr. Secondary School, Channi Himmat.
