JAMMU, May 11: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu (JSSJ) in partnership with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) hosted a workshop on the Capacity Building Program in Science for elementary classes. The event was tailored to ignite curiosity, foster innovation, and inspire a profound love for learning.
The event began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by cultural performances. The workshop held at the premises of Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu in which the resource persons – Puneet Kaur, Principal APS Jammu Cantt and Vishal Gupta, HOD Science Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu aimed to revolutionize science education by offering interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and engaging demonstrations.
Through a blend of theory and practice, the program sought to deepen understanding of scientific concepts while nurturing their problem-solving skills and fostering a spirit of inquiry.
“We are delighted to collaborate with CBSE in organizing this transformative workshop,” expressed Rohini Aima, Principal Cum Vice-Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu. “At our institution, we believe in providing students with opportunities that go beyond traditional learning methods. This workshop was designed to install in our faculty a passion for science and a curiosity to explore the world around them.”
The Capacity Building Program in Science for elementary classes attracted enthusiastic participation from educators from different schools. This CBP by CBSE is intended for prospective resource persons in primary science teaching.
