JAMMU, Mar 10: Channi Himmat police nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 5,300 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Channi Himmat police station led by SHO Aijaz Wani conducted a raid in Sainik Colony area and nabbed four gamblers last night.
The arrested gamblers have been identified as Ajay, son of Gautam, Dhani Ram, son of Dharam Lal, Sunil Kumar, son of Hari Kumar and Beru Kumar, son of Bhola, all residents of Channi Himmat.
Rs 5,300 stake money and playing cards were recovered from the spot.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered at Channi Himmat police station and investigation started.
