JAMMU, Mar 13: Chinore police today arrested a medical shop owner from Durga Nagar for selling intoxicant capsules.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, a police team from Chinore police post led by SI RS Rana conducted a raid at a medical shop at Durga Nagar and during search recovered 500 intoxicant capsules.
The owner of the shop identified as Jai Pal, son of Kamla Dass of Lane number 2, Sector number 1, Durga Nagar was arrested.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Chinore police post and investigation started.
