POONCH, Mar 13: PDP was committed to set up a new system of justice and equality so that every individual and every region and sub-region of the State would get equal opportunity of growth and development.
This was stated by PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Yash Pal Sharma while addressing series of meeting in ward number 7, 9, 10, 11, 15 and 16 of Poonch town.
He flayed Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses. He said that miseries of the people have increased manifold after formation of National Conference led regime in the State.
Sharma said that during the last five and half year situation in the State has been deteriorating because Omar Abdullah led Government was pursuing anti-people policies.
He said that the State has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to wrong policies of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who has failed to connect himself with the common masses.
He said that Rajouri-Poonch districts are worst victims of the wrong policies being pursued by this Government. He pointed out that scarcity of ration in the hilly areas reflected complete failure of this dispensation.
Sharma said that during the last five and half year this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the people.
He exhorted the people to teach a lesson to the coalition in coming Lok Sabha elections.
Imtiyaz Banday, Shah Mohammad Tantray, Amar Singh Josh, Naresh Sharma, Mohinder Shah, Advocate Sanjay Raina, Advocate Sunil Sharma, Paramjit Verma and Amar Nath also addressed the meetings.
