JAMMU, Mar 13: Arnia police today arrested three gamblers along with stake money and playing cards from Gandli.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Arnia police station conducted a raid at Gandli and arrested three gamblers along with Rs 440 and playing cards. During checking, police also recovered Rs 1400 from their possession.
The gamblers have been identified as Vikramjeet, son of Des Raj of Tanda, RS Pura, Pawan Kumar, son of Inder Dass and Pritam Singh, son of Dharma Singh, both resident of Gandli, RS Pura.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at police station Arnia and investigation started.
The arrest was made by Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Davinder singh.
