Postponement of election to Zeashta Devi demanded

JAMMU, Mar 15: The contesting candidate for the post of president of Zeashta Devi Prabandhak Committee Srinagar, Kashmir, Dr A K Koul and voters have demanded postponement of the elections of the Committee slated to be held on March 23 in view of the inclement weather conditions in Kashmir.
In a statement issued here today, Dr Koul and Inder Kumar a representative of voters have made an appeal to Election authority demanded that the elections be postponed in view of inclement weather.
They said under the prevailing circumstances it will be very difficult for the voters from Jammu and rest of the country to visit Kashmir Valley from here to cast the vote.
