JAMMU, June 2: Kuldeep Kumar Gupta Secretary, Vansh Sabre Sports Foundation called on Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary Health and Medical Education Department, here today.
Gupta urged for opening of dispensary and providing the services of one physician and nurse in Stadium at MA Stadium, Jammu & Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. He submitted a memorandum to the Secretary Health and Medical Education and urged for swift action to ensure justice for sports persons.
Gupta said during the practice session if any player gets injured there is no option to take first aid and the player has to be shifted to Govt. Hospital for first aid. A timely first aid can be a life saver or can save the career of a player if immediate first aid is to be provided to them. Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary Health and Medical Education gave a patient hearing to the issue for opening of dispensary along with staff, as per statement.
