UDHAMPUR, Mar 18: In separate road accidents, three pedestrians were injured after being hit by speeding vehicles, here today.
A car bearing registration number JK02M-0769, hit a pedestrian near Chopra Shop area. The injured, identified as Sat Pal (28), son of Mani Ram of Gowrian Talab, Udhampur, was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur by some locals. His condition was stated to be stable.
Another pedestrian, identified as Makhna (50), wife of Govind Ram of Dhar Road, Udhampur, was hit by an unidentified vehicle near her house. She was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of her serious condition.
Another road accident took place at Sailan Talab area of the town when Uttam (45), son of Charan Dass of Baryal Udhampur, was hit by an unidentified vehicle while crossing road.
