JAMMU, June 5: A star shooters Vishal Sharma and Aneesha Sharma of Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ) have secured the region’s first Gold medal in the mixed senior team Rifle shooting event in Bhopal.
They won Gold in the senior category at the prestigious 22nd Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship held at Madhya Pradesh (MP) State Shooting Range in Bhopal from June 1 to June 19; the duo showcased outstanding skill and precision.
Under the expert guidance of coaches Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh, Vishal Sharma and Aneesha Sharma delivered a stellar performance, bringing pride and recognition to Jammu and Kashmir in the national shooting arena. Their dedication and hard work culminated in this significant accomplishment, setting a new benchmark for future athletes from the region.
President of the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA), S.S. Sodhi, along with Chairman Kuldeep Singh Jamwal and Chief Executive Officer DySP Sharat Chandra Singh, extended their heartfelt congratulations to both shooters.
