SRINAGAR : The national highway connecting the Kashmir valley with the rest of the country was through for one-way traffic as hundreds of vehicles left Srinagar for Jammu this morning.
A traffic police official said here this morning that highway remains open till further instructions. The official said hundreds of vehicles, including those carrying passengers left different parts of the Kashmir valley, including Srinagar this morning for Jammu.
The vehicles, however, had to cross Qazigund, gateway of Kashmir, before 1100 hrs, he said adding that no vehicle will be allowed from Jammu. (AGENCIES)
