Mufti asks youth to take PDP’s message to every nook, corner

JAMMU, Mar 19: PDP patron and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed today interacted with youth from Bishnah at the party headquarters here.
Addressing the youth, he appealed them to strengthen the party and take its message to every nook and corner of the State for a transformation in the State and strengthening the roots of democracy, removal of unemployment, corruption etc.
Mufti Mohammed Sayeed said that youth is a power and the future of nation lies with them. Their firm resolve can bring the State out of present mess and help in strengthening the democracy at grass root level, he added.
He, while apprising the youth of PDP’s policies and programmes said that various steps were taken for the overall development of the State and welfare of youth during PDP rule in 2002 but unfortunately the schemes launched by the Party were shelved later.
He asked the youth to strengthen his party and garner support for the party candidates in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections which will be a prelude to Assembly elections in the State.
PDP general secretary, Mohammed Dillawar Mir, party candidate for Jammu -Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma were among others present in the meeting.
The youth from Bishnah were led by Rohit Sharma. He apprised the PDP leader of problems of youth and appealed him that party should ensure redressal of these problems in its manifesto.
