Couple injured in clash

JAMMU, June 29: A couple was injured in a clash between them and their family members over some property dispute, leading to grievous injuries to both, in Phallain Mandaal area of the city outskirts.
Police spokesman said that, a woman namely Seema Devi and her husband Ram Dass, of Phallain Mandaal area were thrashed by their family members, leading to serious injuries to them.
After getting information, police party from Phallain Mandaal Police Post rushed to the spot and shifted them to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where the condition of Ram Dass, was stated to be serious, when last reports came in, he added.
No arrest has been made so far, while, a case under FIR number 140/ 12 has been registered at Police Post Phallain Mandaal and investigation started, spokesman said, adding, that family dispute is the reason behind.
He added that the, 7 months ago, the said woman was allegedly raped by her brother-in-law and the victim had registered a case in this regards at Police Station Satwari. The investigation of the said case was going on.
