JSS Kathua holds cyclothon

KATHUA, June 9: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua conducted a cyclothon with the theme “One Earth, One Future.” The event was a vibrant manifestation of the school’s commitment to promote environmental awareness and healthy living among students and the local community.
Paramjeet Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kathua was the chief guest while Manjeet Singh, DySP, Headquarters Kathua was the guest of honour on this occasion. Their presence and support added significant value to the event, inspiring participants and spectators alike.
The event commenced with a ceremonial flag-off by Paramjeet Singh and Manjeet Singh. Both dignitaries emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation and personal health. Participants, including students and faculty members cycled through a Predetermined route from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park– Stadium– Women College-Shaheedi Chowk-GDC Kathua–back to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park.
At the culmination of the event, all participants were felicitated with certificates by the dignitaries. Towards the culmination, the dignitaries were presented with a token of gratitude for sparing their valuable time out of their busy schedule.
Principal, Mili R Sumbria lauded the efforts of the Young and Dynamic Sanskritians for having so enthusiastically participated in the Cyclothon 2024.
