JAMMU, June 10: Alankrita Sharma has won J&K-UT Women Chess Championship-2024 and remained undefeated in all the 4 rounds. She scored 3.5 points out of 4.
While Srujanika Gupta secured 2nd place, Sonali Manhas got 3rd place and Manasvi Gupta claimed 4th place. The Championship was organised by All J&K Chess Association under the banner of J&K Sports Council.
Baldev Raj president AJKCA was chief guest on the closing ceremony who distributed trophies and certificates among the winners alongwith Chairman Jammu division selection committee SP Sharma, Chief Arbiter Bindu Pathania and Ritish Pathania. All the matches were conducted as per FIDE laws of Chess.
