KATHUA, Mar 21: Talent hunt function Chhoona Hai Aasman Season-3 was organized by District Police Kathua at District Police Line here, today.
Mohan Lal SSP Kathua was chief guest of the occasion. The talent hunt competition comprised solo singing both junior and senior (male/female) categories. The participants were auditioned during the show that lasted for about 6 hours and were asked to sing solo song of their own choice within the stipulated time.
At the end of the function, participants adjudged as 2nd runner up, 1st runner up and winner in each category were given cash reward Rs 500, Rs 750 and Rs 1000/- with momentous along with participation certificates respectively.
Besides, participation certificates were also awarded to all the participants who participated in event. Bandana Devi of GHS Jarai Kathua was declared as winner and Ujala Devi as 1st runner up in Junior Category Female. Akshay Kumar was declared as winner, Rohit Sharma as 1st runner up and Ankush Manjotra as 2nd runner up in Junior Category Male.
Suhasini Dubey was declared as winner, Miss Komal Bhagat as 1st runner up and Miss Harpreet Kour as 2nd runner in senior category female. Ashwani Kumar was declared as winner, Nitesh Kumar as 1st runner and Rohit Kumar as 2nd runner up in senior category male.
A large number of prominent citizens, teachers and the parents of the participants attended the function and applauded the role of J&K Police in providing such opportunities to the young generation. Among others the function was attended by Sanjeev Kumar Khajuria Principal PTS Kathua, Yogesh Sharma, Addl. SP Kathua, Mushim Ahmed DySP Hqrs. Kathua, Diwakar Singh SDPO Border.
