JAMMU, June 13: The Physical Education Department outplayed the Chemistry Department by 10 wickets in the ongoing Inter-departmental Cricket (M) tournament of the Jammu University for the session of 2023-24 organized by Campus Sports Committee at University of Jammu.
Earlier batting first, the Physical Education team scored128 runs and lost 5 wickets in 15 overs. Pankaj Sharma scored highest 69 runs for the team. Aqib took 4 wickets whereas Nikhil 2 and Snehal, Sajad and Pankaj clinched 1 wicket each. While chasing the target of 128 runs, the Chemistry Department got all out on just 65 runs in 12.5 overs.
The tournaments were organized under the direct supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba Chairman, Campus Sports Committee University of Jammu. The matches were officiated by Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ashok Singh, Vijay Raina and Amit Gill.
