JAMMU, June 14: In an ongoing 1st J&K Ranking Table Tennis Championships 2024, Ritvik Gupta bagged (U-15) Boys while Nitya clinched (U-15) Girls title. Ritvik Gupta & Hunny fight it out for the Under-17 Boys Championship. He defended his Under-15 title by defeating Gourav by 3-0.
In the semi finals Ritvik Gupta defeated Saiyam Nischel by 3-0 whereas Gourav outclassed Ayaan by 3-0 to join Ritvik for the title clash.
In the Under 15 girls final Nitya Arora defeated Myrah Dewan by 3 games to 1 to defend her crown. Nitya proved herself a dominating force in this year’s tournament and made her way to the finals by defeating Syrah by 3-0 whereas Myrah outplayed Srishti in the other semi finals by 3-0. In Under-17 and U-19 categories, matches were underway till the last reports came in.
The results were Under-15 Boys (Semi Finals) Gourav beat Ahaan by 3-0, Ritvik beat Saiyam by 3-0, Under-15 Girls (Semi Finals), Nitya beat Syrah by 3-0, Myrah beat Srishti by 3-0.
In Under-17 Girls (Round 1) Myrah beat Muskaan by 3-0, Syrah beat Yasha by 3-2, Nitya beat Saanvi by 3-0, Mishti beat Anvi by 3-0. In Under-17 Boys (Semi Finals) Ritvik Gupta beat Samarth by 3-0, Hunny beat Gourav by 3-1. Under-19 Girls (Round 1) Mishti beat Muskaan by 3-0, Nitya beat Saanvi by 3-0, Myrah beat Himanika by 3-0 and Syrah beat Tuheena by 3-1. The matches were officiated by Meenu Rajesh, Asad Sharma & Ankit Sharma.
