Girl who jumped in Jehlum yet to be found

SRINAGAR, Mar 26: The body of the girl, who jumped in river Jehlum from Amira Kadal last week, is yet to be retrieved.
A police spokesman said that they are continuously making all efforts to retrieve the body.
“The search operation is going on expeditiously. Services of elite Marcos (Marine Commanders) of Indian Navy are also being utilized,” the spokesman said.
The young girl from Batamaloo jumped into the river on March 19, 2014,
He said for the first time in operations of such nature elite Marcos (Marine Commanders) of Indian Navy were pressed into service on March 21. “Marcos has placed best 16 divers and speed boats at disposal led by an officer of the rank of Major. Police has also deployed Nafri night hours too for spotting the dead body,” the spokesman said.
