Load carrier plunges into gorge, 3 injured

BHADERWAH, Mar 27: Three persons were injured, when the load carrier they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Khellani in district Doda.
The driver of the ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK01S-5796 lost control over the steering, resulting the vehicle plunged into gorge near Khellai causing grievous injuries to three occupants.
On getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured were rushed to District Hospital Doda in police and other vehicles, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Parvaz Ahmed (30), son of Mohammad Sultan Butt, Ghulam Hussan (57), son of Rasool Lone and driver Shabir Ahmed, all residents of Srinagar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at police post Khellani and investigation started.
