JAMMU, July 6: The J&K Taekwondo Association will conduct selection trials for the Cadet and Junior Taekwondo teams on July 8 and 9 at MA Stadium, Jammu.
These trials are for participation in the 7th National Cadet Kyorugi/Poomsae Taekwondo Championships, scheduled from August 2 to 4, at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Port Trust Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex, Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and the 41st National Junior Kyorugi as well as 14th National Poomsae Taekwondo Championships, from August 18 to 20 at Divisional Sports Complex, Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad, Maharashtra).
The Selection Committee for the trials comprises of convener Atul Pangotra (International Coach/Player/ Referee), organizing secretary Anuj Sharma (joint secretary JKTA) and Members Chandeep Singh (International Player) & Dushyant Kapta (National Player).
The weigh-in for all athletes will be held at MA Stadium Jammu on July 8. Both Kyorugi and Poomsae events will take place from 11 AM to 5 PM on July 8 and from 9 AM until conclusion on July 9.
