JAMMU, Mar 29: Suman Gupta, one of the leading and well known magic realist artists of the State has been invited to show his art works in a show titled “Nirbhaya-Multiple expressions” at Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi.
The name of the show is inspired with the victim of December 16 gangrape case, who lost her life fighting against all odds. “Nirbhaya” a name given to this martyr, became a symbol of bravery and courage.
To resolve the sensitive issue IGNCA together with Creative Mind Publications, NIV Art Center is organizing the mega from April 4 to 12, 2014 at IGNCA.
Suman Gupta shall be exhibiting some of his new works specially created for the said event in which some of the leading and well known artists of the country are showing their works and thus making their statement about the shocking incident.
