GRP rescues kidnapped girl, 3 arrested

JAMMU, Mar 31: General Railway Police (GRP) today rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested three youth from Jammu Railway Station.
A police spokesman said that, while patrolling, GRP personnel observed three boys and one girl moving under suspicious circumstances at Jammu Railway Station.
During questioning, it came to fore that the girl hailing from Baljeet Nagar, Bheel Basti, New Delhi was kidnapped by these three boys and a case under FIR number 132/14 under Section 363 IPC stands registered at police station Anand Parbat Delhi in this regard.
Police arrested all the accused, who have been identified as Raju, son of Shri Rama of Bheel Basti, Delhi, Sanjeev, son of Sarwan and Chatan, son of Mohan, both residents of Baljeet Nagar, Delhi.
All the accused and the kidnapped girl were handed over to concerned police for further necessary action under law.
The arrest was made by SHO police station GRP Jammu Inspector Surinder Paul Singh under the supervision of SDPO Railways Chander Jeet Singh and SP Railways Shiv Kumar Sharma.
