BARAMULLA, Mar 31: In order to prevent frequent traffic jams, district administration on Monday ordered one-way traffic in different routes in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.
A senior traffic official while confirming it said that the step has been taken keeping in view the traffic jams causing hassles to commuters especially students and office goers.
“The one way traffic will continue from Karaba Park to Main Chowk Baramulla besides its adjoining areas,” the official told.
He said that the support of local populace is important for continuing implementation of the rule.
Meanwhile, the traffic official also appealed motorcyclist particularly students to wear helmet while driving.
