JAMMU, July 19: Jammu Police today apprehended an absconder, who was evading arrest for last four years.
“The absconder namely Mushtaq Ahmed son of Mir Mohd, resident of Mohaarian (tehsil Thannamandi, district Rajouri), was arrested by a team of Police Station City Jammu,” said a Police spokesman.
He said the absconder was wanted in a case FIR Number 78/2009 u/s 379 RPC of Police Station City Jammu and was evading his arrest since 2020. “The absconder was today produced in the court of Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu and was sent to judicial custody,” the spokesman added.
