Srinagar, Apr 1: One person died, while as another was injured in two different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Sumo, JK01V/2623, driven by Safeer Ahmad son of Laldin of Nichia, Karnah, hit a pedestrian Sheer Zaman Khan son of Kaloo Khan of Kandi at Kandi Karnah in Uri .
The pedestrian died on spot in this accident, the spokesman said, adding a case has been registered.
A Maruti car, JK01C/4178, driven by Javid Iqbal Rather son of Abdul Salam Rather of Hanjoora, Chadoora, rammed into an electric pole at Ichkoot in Budgam. The driver was injured in this mishap, who was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
