JAMMU, July 22: A volleyball tournament was organized at Panchayat Changia in Bishnah Assembly segment here today. The tournament was organised by Tableen Boparai and local youth of Village.
Neeraj Kundan former National President, NSUI was chief guest of the event. Four teams participated in the tournament. Team of Village Kaku De Kothe won the tournament whereas Village Treva stood second.
Neeraj Kundan, chief guest while addressing the youth, appreciated the organising committee of Panchayat Changia for the event. Neeraj Kundan further highlighted the importance of games and Physical workout and aware the youngsters about the ill effects of Drugs.
He also distributed trophies and cash prizes to the winner and runner-up teams. He also gifted Volleyball Kitts to all the participating teams to boost their morale.
Kailash Saini, Block President Arnia, Surinder Kumar Devegowda (Senior Congress Leader) Panch Rajwant Singh Raji, Ex Sarpanch Deepu, Captain Karnal Singh, Master Harcharan Singh, Lambardar Chunni Choudhary, Lambardar Sagar Charak and others were also present on the occasion.
