Sir,
It looks now a part of the daily life of the people that in case there are some rains associated with or in absence of some slight winds and a few lightening, the water supply as well the electric supply both get affected. This scenario was a few decades back also the same as it is now. Hence it all has now become a part of our life, at least in Jammu.
Recent rains coupled with some winds not of any severity resulted in disruption of electricity in many areas for hours together and as if it was not enough to cause difficulties to the public, water supply remained disrupted for days together in most of the areas. The Chief Minister very recently said that the performance of his Government would motivate the voters to vote for his Party and the coalition Party for the Lok Sabha and for the Assembly elections.
Besides the unsatisfactory position of water and electricity, the condition of Jammu roads (barring the ones used by the VVIPs) is worse. At least we want the date, the year from whence at least these three basic needs of the public shall be fulfilled.
Yours etc…
