IGNOU holds Induction programme for students

JAMMU, Apr 3:  Indira Gandhi National Open University  held an Induction programme cum meeting for the students of Diploma Nursing Administration course, at Madr-e-Meharban campus of Health Sciences, here today.
Addressing the function,  the chief guest Prof MPS Ishar, Vice Chancellor of Jammu University highlighted the importance of Paramedical personal in the health care delivery.
Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, president of the managing committee of the institution, spoke on the importance of specialized nursing expertise needed for manning of Super Speciality  Hospitals at Srinagar and Jammu and advised  Director of the Madr-e-Meharban Institute to plan for introduction of post basic courses in Super Speciality Disciplines.
Vikram Singh, Assistant Regional Director of IGNOU and V Dubey Principal of Nursing Institute of the Campus explained the mechanics and schedule of counseling and contact teaching programme of the course to the selected students.
