Shaurya International School holds Aqua meet

JAMMU, July 30: Shaurya International School organized an Inter-House Aqua meet for students from Grades II through XII. Colonel Muneesh Jasrotia, CO 2 J&K Girls Battalion NCC Jammu, was the chief guest. Harinder Mahajan, Chairman of Shaurya Education Society, and Sahil Mahajan, Vice-Chairman, were also present.
The event began with a balloon release, followed by students showcasing their swimming skills in freestyle events, demonstrating athleticism and sportsmanship. Colonel Jasrotia emphasized the importance of sports in building physical endurance and learning to accept both success and failure. Harinder Mahajan highlighted the role of sports in students’ overall development, while Sahil Mahajan underscored sports’ benefits in building self-confidence and physical fitness. Principal Dr. Rajesh Gandral noted that athletic events provide energy and a needed break from academic routines.
