SAMBA, Apr 4: Former member, State Commission for Backward Classes and Executive Member, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Madan Lal Kashyap, visited various villages of border and Kandi belt of Samba and Kathua districts and appealed the people to vote and support Congress candidates.
In his meeting with various prominent persons as well as president of OBC, Kashyap highlighted the achievements of the Congress Party making special reference to enhancement of at least 10% reservation for OBCs.
During the meeting in Kathua, which was attended by president, District Kathua, Muni Lal Badan besides members of Advisory Board, Krishan Chand and Mulkh Raj, Kashyap appealed them to vote and support Congress candidates Ghulam Nabi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma.
In Samba, the meeting was attended by Nilamber Kumar, Bodh Raj Dogra, Arjan Kumar, Ram Dass and Ashok Kumar.
Yesterday, Kashyap along with OBC people gave a warm welcome to Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad, who held various Road shows at Ghagwal, Rajpura, Hiranagar, Kali, Bari and other areas of Samba and Kathua districts
Madan Lal, Harbans Lal, Mangal Dass, Ashu Kumar, Nand Gopal and Baisakhi Ram were the prominent persons who participated in the Road shows of Mr Azad.
