JAMMU, Aug 2: Delhi Public School Udhampur held a programme to induct the newly elected Junior and Senior Students Council members for the 2024-25 academic session. The event was graced by Rayees Mohd Bhatt, DIG Udhampur, Reasi range, as the chief guest. In his address, Bhatt appreciated the new council members, emphasizing that their badges symbolize a commitment to serve, lead and inspire. He urged them to embody the values of teamwork, empathy and integrity.
Principal Dr Kunal Anand highlighted the importance of leadership, responsibility, and dedication in his speech, encouraging the council members to uphold the school’s values. The event also featured the presence of Dr. J. C. Gupta, Pro Vice Chairman; Vivek Gupta, MD; Sucheta Gupta, Director Academics and other dignitaries.
The ceremony included the pinning of badges and the administering of the oath of office. Newly appointed Senior Head Boy Sameer Rathore and Senior Head Girl Aadhya Sharma expressed their gratitude and shared their vision for the upcoming year. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Deputy Head Boy Kanav Sharma and Deputy Head Girl Charchika Gupta, followed by the DPS anthem, marking a new chapter in student leadership.
