JAMMU, Apr 5: The Lord Hanuman Jayanti Mahotsav would be organised at Pracheen Hanuman Mandir, Moti Bazaar, Jammu from April 12 to 15. Hanuman Jayanti falls on April 15.
Rajiv Gupta, spokesperson of Hanuman Jayanti Mahotsav said the programme would start with Ramayan Path at 11 am on April 12. The Ramayan Path would conclude on 12 noon on April 13.
Bhajan Sandhya would be organised on April 13 from 9 pm onwards.
Mr Gupta said leading artists of Jammu would participate in the Bhajan Sandhya.
Bhandara would be held at 11 am on April 14 while Hanuman Jayanti would be observed on April 15. Puran Ahuti would be held at 12 noon on April 15.
The programmes for Lord Hanuman Jayanti were finalised in a meeting attended among others by Bhuvnesh Sharma, head priest of Pracheen Mandir, B S Jamwal, Vinod Gupta, Rajiv Gupta and Kamal Sharma.
Mr Gupta appealed to the people to attend the celebrations in large number and take blessings of Lord Hanuman. He recalled that the celebrations were started by late Pandit Dushyant Sharma about two decades back.
