Punjab beat Jammu and Kashmir in Super Over

CHANDIGARH, Apr 5: Punjab defeated Jammu and Kashmir in Super Over after their match was tied in the North Zone T20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali today.
The win gave Punjab four points, brining their tally to 12 for third place. Delhi (20 pts) and Haryana (16 pts) were winners and runners-up, respectively. Punjab won the toss and elected to bat. They made 144 for 8 in 20 overs with Gitansh Khera remaining not out on 37.
Jammu and Kashmir replied with 144 all out in 20 overs. Parvez Rasool struck half century (52) and Veemarsh Kaw 31.
As the match ended in a tie, the issue was resolved through Super Over, according to BCCI scorer Rajesh Arora. In Super Over, Jammu and Kashmir made 12 all out and Punjab made 13 without any loss.
