Jodhamal bags ‘School of Innovation Award’

JAMMU, Aug 12: Jodhamal Public School, Jammu, has been awarded the prestigious ‘School of Innovation Award (Jury’s Choice)’ at the ScooNews Global Fest 2024, held at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur. The three-day event was attended by over 1,000 leading schools from across India. The award was presented to Principal Girish Kumar by Indrani Bhaduri, CEO and Head of PARAKH – NCERT, and noted educationist Aditi Misra.
Jodhamal was recognized for fostering a strong culture of innovation, highlighted by the achievements of its Innovation Hub. In the past year alone, students from the school secured one British Patent and four Indian Patents. Other notable accomplishments include hosting Icarus’24, the first-ever Drone-War Competition, winning the Smart India Hackathon Junior, developing the ‘Atmanirbhar Jammu’ website, and triumphing in the MIT App Inventor Appathon organized by MIT, USA.
Trustee Nandan Kuthiala dedicated the award to the students, emphasizing its role in motivating them to continue their innovative pursuits. Director Arati Kuthiala, Principal Girish Kumar, and Vice Principal Amita Arora congratulated the students on this significant achievement, wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.
