Srinagar, Apr 8: Seven residential houses have been damaged by the incessant rainfall that lashed the Valley since Sunday.
A police spokesman said the residential house of Farooq Ahmad Sheikh son of Abdul Rashid of Khar Mohalla Adhal, Kokernag, was partially damaged due to heavy rains, adding the family members were evacuated to a safer place.
Two residential houses of Nazir Ahmad Magray son of Ghulam Rasool and Farooq Ahmad Magray son of Ghulam Ahmad of Akkad, Anantnag, were partially damaged.
In Genderbal district, four residential houses and a cowshed were damaged at Dignibal Nagbal.
The spokesman said no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
