JAMMU, Aug 14: Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) School Sainik Colony, Jammu, hosted the Regional Cultural Celebration 2024 for the North Region Kurukshetra. On the second day of the event, Ranjeet Kalra, a member of J&K Sports Council and the Governing Council (Sports) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, and a faculty member at Jammu University, was the chief guest. Arun Sharma, a member of the National Committee BVP, and Reeta Sharma, former Principal of MVM Jammu, were the special guests.
Principal Vishnu Govind Verma welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the organization and the event. Students from 12 MVM schools in the Northern Kurukshetra Region participated in 29 different events. The highlights of the second day included a debate and an on-the-spot painting competition.
