Sack Azam Khan: VHP

JAMMU, Apr 9: Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) today strongly condemned the statement of UP Minister Azam Khan who said that Kargil war was won due to role of Muslim Army and Hindus have no role in it.
In a statement issued here, the VHP patron, Dr Rama Kant Dubey termed the Azam Khan’s speech as dangerous saying this way Mr Khan tried to divide Indian Army. He said the Army is never being divided on the basis of religion and demanded that the Minister be sacked from UP Council of Ministers.
Dr Dubey, also criticized UP Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav as well as SP supremo, Mulayam Singh Yadav for not acting against Azam Khan.
He demanded that the Minister be arrested under National Security Act.
He said in case the UPA as well as UP Government fail to act against Mr Khan for his objectionable speech then President of India should intervene and take action under the law against him.
Dr Dubey said besides the Indian Army it was because of the role of local people of Kargil that war was won and Pakistan was given a befitting reply.
