Neha becomes first Cadet to represent India in Vietnam

JAMMU, Aug 25: Neha Sharma, a senior Cadet Captain from Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu, has become the first girl cadet from Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory to represent India under the Youth Exchange Programme to Vietnam. Selected among NCC cadets from 28 States and Union Territories, Neha’s journey from a remote background to this prestigious achievement reflects her determination and resilience.
The 13-member delegation included cadets from across the country. Her achievement has brought immense pride to the JK&L Directorate and the 1 J&K Naval Unit. Lieutenant Commander Tej Ram Sharma, Commanding Officer of 1 J&K Naval Unit NCC, praised Neha’s dedication, stating she is a role model for cadets nationwide. Assistant Professor Mohd Ashraf and Principal Prof. B.B. Anand of Maulana Azad Memorial College also lauded her efforts, highlighting her journey as an inspiration to all, emphasizing the values of discipline and determination instilled in their students.
