DODA, Aug 28: IPL star Iqbal Abdullah has joined the first-ever five-day Gufran Global Cricket Coaching Camp in Doda as the Head Coach, organized by the Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda. Abdullah, nominated by YSCC, interacted with players from within and outside the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, sharing his valuable insights and cricketing techniques. His presence has been a significant source of inspiration for young talents.
Abdullah aims to promote cricket by identifying and nurturing talent from rural areas, providing training to enhance their skills and mental game. He also plans to expand the sport in schools and colleges across the region.
Manzoor Ahmed Batt, Patron YSCC, expressed plans to expand the academy and provide world-class coaching to local talent. The camp features coaches from Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, and former IPL players, aiming to groom cricketers from grassroots to international levels.
