JAMMU, Aug 29: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain, held a ceremony at the Zonal Police Headquarters to honour Sandeep Verma, a Special Constable, for his remarkable achievements in bodybuilding. Verma won the Gold Medal in the State Bodybuilding competition and was named “Most Improved Bodybuilder of 2024” at the Mr. Jammu and Kashmir Muscle up Classic Competition 2024.
The competition took place at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, attracting participants from across the state. Verma’s impressive performance showcased his exceptional strength and physique, highlighting his dedication and hard work.
During the felicitation, ADGP Anand Jain praised Verma for his commitment to fitness and excellence, noting that his achievements serve as an inspiration to fellow police personnel. ADGP Jain emphasized the importance of physical fitness and a disciplined lifestyle, encouraging others to emulate Verma’s example. The ceremony was attended by Vishal Manhas (SO to ADGP) and other police officials, who expressed pride in Verma’s accomplishments.
