JAMMU, Aug 30: DBN Amarvilla hosted the “Unveil the Unseen” Inter-school Show and Tell Competition under the Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex banner, at the school auditorium, the event drew participation from 25 top CBSE schools across Jammu and Kathua, showcasing the diverse talents of young students.
The competition featured a variety of themes, including “Travel Souvenirs,” “Call Me Picasso,” and “Something So Small That Fits In to My Pocket,” aimed at enhancing public speaking, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and a vibrant Vandana performance by primary school students, setting an auspicious tone for the day.
Dr Vikesh Kaur, founder principal of Doon International School and President of the Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex, was the chief guest. Randeep Wazir, Principal of International Delhi Public School and Joint Secretary of the Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex, was the guest of honour. Other dignitaries included Neetu Gupta, Madhavi Nagpal, and Harish Raina, known for their significant contributions to education.
Participants were given unique codes and three minutes each to showcase their talents. The competition was marked by vibrant and imaginative presentations. Kyra Raina from KC International School clinched the first prize, Shanaya Sharma from GD Goenka Public School took second place, and Nysa from Model Academy and Dhrisha Sharma from JK Public School Kathua shared third place. Consolation prizes went to Anahat Anand, Harmehar Kour, and Asees Kour for their exceptional performances. The event concluded with the vote of thanks presented by CCA Coordinator Nidhi Sambyal.
