Jammu District Rollball C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Aug 30: The District Jammu Rollball Championship concluded at the MA Stadium Skating Rink, Jammu where approximately 100 players participated despite rain interruptions. The weather limited the event to junior category matches, but the Championship still featured intense competition and sportsmanship.
In the Under-11 category, team Orange and team Green were declared joint winners as the final match was halted by rain. In the Girls’ section, team Orange, led by Urwah Sajjad, emerged victorious, while the team captained by Dhwani Nanda secured the runner-up position. In the Boys’ junior section, Anant Badyal’s team claimed the title by defeating Samuel Khokhar’s team in a closely contested match.
The matches were overseen by referees Jamba and Anthiksh, with Madhu Sharma serving as the tournament coordinator. Officials Vishali Bagal and Rita Rehan were also in attendance. Prizes were presented by Khushi Gupta, an international Rollball player. Additionally, Saanjali Singh received special recognition as the youngest participant in the tournament, being lauded for her enthusiasm and dedication to the sport.
