JAMMU, Aug 30: To celebrate the ‘National Small Industry Day 2024’, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production staged Nukkad Natak ‘Apne Hath Jagannath’.
The programe was inaugurated by the chief guest, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Among guests of honour were Anju Dogra, Health Department, Jammu; Romesh Chander, Advisor, Shashvat Art Gallery, Jammu and Mukesh Singh.
Specially prepared items on the theme were ‘Apne Hath Jagannath’, ‘Mere Tere Loken De Khuli Ge Naseeb Ji’ and many others including skits to aware the masses. The chief guest said that every year on August 30, India dedicates National Small Industry Day to honour and acknowledge the vital role played by small industries in nation’s economic advancement.
BLSKS artists presented theme based songs written by Dr. M.L Dogra and the music was composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor of BLSKS.
Welcome address was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS chairman.
Usha Raina, Troupe In-charge BLSKS also spoke on the occasion.
Artists who performed were Raju Bajgal, K.K Joshi, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar, Chahat Chadha, Bindia Okheda, Zulekha Bano, Sudesh Manhas, Kamla Devi, Naiya Digra and Renu Bala.
