JAMMU, Sept 2: Government Polytechnic Jammu here today organised a Placement Letters Distribution Function.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Om Prakash Bhagat, Directorate of Skill Development J&K. The event was aimed at recognizing and celebrating the hard work and achievements of the students who have secured employment opportunities through campus placements.
Speaking on the occasion Om Prakash Bhagat emphasized the importance of practical skills and industry readiness in today’s competitive job market.
Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu expressed gratitude to the industry partners and placement coordinators for their continuous support and collaboration.
During the ceremony, placement letters for Hitachi Astemo Rajasthan Break Pvt Ltd were distributed to 33 students and 20 students got the placement letter from Escorts Kubota Ltd.
The placement success is a testament to the strong industry connections of the institute.
Ajay Thapa, TP Cell OIC facilitated the program. Others present on the occasion were Neena Dullo and Rajesh Khajuria, DLTP Cell; Inderjeet Singh, Workshop Superintendent; Sukhdeep Singh, HoD Civil Engg; Jasdeep Kour, HoD I&C; Manjeet Singh, HoD Electrical Engineering; Raj Shekhar, HoD Automobile Engineering; Raj Kumar, HoD Mechanical Engg; Sakshi Kapahi, faculty and staff of the College.
