JAMMU, Sept 3: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu organized a vibrant programme themed “Sankalp Se Siddhi Ki Aur – Lead to Inspire,” marked by enthusiasm and cultural performances. The event celebrated the induction of the new Student Cabinet for the academic year 2024-25. Distinguished alumni, including Archit Puri, Nandan Gupta, Aman Talla and Sahaj Sabharwal, were the guests of honour, alongside parents, staff and students.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome for the dignitaries, followed by a group song by the school choir. The student council swearing-in ceremony saw 108 young leaders take their oaths, adorned with badges and sashes, signifying their roles and responsibilities. The event featured captivating performances, including a blend of Bharatnatyam and Kathak, a Rajasthani folk music jugalbandi, and a march past by the newly elected council members.
Principal Ruchi Chabra highlighted the school’s achievements and acknowledged the contributions of the school’s founders and staff. The programme concluded with speeches by the Head Boys and Head Girls, a vote of thanks, and the National Anthem, leaving attendees inspired and proud of the new leaders embarking on their journey.
