YCET welcomes new batch with Grand Induction Ceremony

Jammu, Sept 4: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) welcomed the incoming batch of 2024 with a Grand Induction Ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students. Held on the expansive YCET campus, the ceremony served as a comprehensive introduction to the institution’s academic life.
The event commenced with an inaugural session featuring the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Saraswati Vandana and the presentation of bouquets to guests, including Chairman JGEI, Er. Vidhi S Singh Jamwal, and the resource person, Prof. J.R. Dhotra. Er. Dinesh Gupta, Dean of Academics, extended a warm welcome to the guests and students, emphasizing YCET’s commitment to elevating academic standards.
Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Chairman of YCET, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He welcomed the students into the YCET family, encouraging them to make the most of their time at the institution and strive to achieve their life goals. Prof. J.R. Dhotra led an insightful session on time management, guiding students on how to organize their time efficiently and prioritize tasks to enhance productivity.
The afternoon session focused on personality development and communication skills, led by Er. Divya Jamwal. She provided valuable insights into building self-confidence and handling public speaking, leaving students motivated and eager to succeed.
On the second day, the morning session included a meditation session by the Brahma Kumaris, led by Rajyogi BK Ravinder Bali and others. The event concluded with an engaging session where alumni Er. Muskan Kapoor and Er. Jatin Arora shared their experiences and journey at YCET, inspiring the new batch to aim high in their academic and professional endeavours.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures from the Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), including Chairman Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Er. Renu Bangroo, and other senior officials, all of whom appreciated YCET’s initiative in organizing such a meaningful event for the new students.
